iboss E-Rate Step-by-Step Guide

Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure a smooth and efficient iboss purchase and deployment.  

Step 1

Determine what iboss 14700 E-Rate product line items you require including appliances, subscription, add-ons, design + implementation, support and training. An iboss SE (Sales Engineer) or CSE (Customer Success Engineer) can assist with this step.

Step 2

Customer Submits FCC Form 470 to USAC to request public bids for the products and services. USAC is responsible for E-Rate administration and approvals and will make the bids public. The public bid must be up for at least 28 days.

Step 3

After the bid has been public for 28 days, customer selects bid and submits FCC Form 471 to request E-Rate discount approval from USAC.

Step 4

Wait and receive E-Rate funding approval from USAC. Applicant should respond to any inquiries from the application reviewer.

Step 5

Once approval is received, the customer should submit FCC Form 486 to confirm services are delivered. iboss will deliver the products and services which will be installed and put into service.

Step 6

iboss will submit FCC Form 474 to receive reimbursement for E-Rate provided service funds if customer selects SPI invoicing method.
