Paul Martini

CEO and Co-founder

Paul Martini is the CEO, co-founder and chief architect of iboss, where he pioneered the award-winning iboss Distributed Gateway Platform. Prior to founding iboss, Paul developed a wide-variety of complex security and technology solutions for clients such as Phogenix, the U.S. Navy, and Hewlett Packard. He was also a key contributor at Copper Mountain Networks working on designing and implementing FPGAs and broadband network infrastructure used by Telcos to build the cloud. His work at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) involved building distributed real-time systems for companies such as Rolls Royce. Copper Mountain and SAIC both launched successful IPOs. Paul has been recognized for his leadership and innovation, receiving the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year award and being named one of Goldman Sachs’ 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. He holds a Computer Science Degree from the University of California, and has had his work published in many scientific journals, including the Journal of Foundations in Computer Science and the Journal of Analytical Biochemistry.

Peter Martini

President and Co-founder

As president and co-founder of iboss, Peter Martini has played a major role in developing iboss’ innovative technology, and has helped shepherd iboss’ phenomenal growth, since its founding. He has been awarded dozens of patents focused on network and mobile security, and with his brother, has been recognized by the industry with several prestigious awards, including, Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and one of Goldman Sachs 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. More recently, iboss was ranked number three for security companies in the Deloitte Fast 500.

Chris Kasper

COO and CFO

Christian G. Kasper is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of iboss.  Prior to iboss, Chris served as President and CEO of Harvest Power Inc., an organics sustainability company named five times to the Global Cleantech 100 and one of Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies in the World.  Earlier in his career Chris served in executive leadership positions of several companies, including The Princeton Review, Inc., a global education and test preparation company, and Lifetime Brands, Inc., a consumer products company whose brands include KitchenAid and Cuisinart.  He has worked in the portfolio companies of some of the world’s leading private equity and venture capital firms, including Bain Capital and Thomas H. Lee Partners.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Cookware Group S.A.S., a consumer products business based in Paris, France conducting business under the Pyrex brand. He has served on the faculty at Harvard Business School as a Dean’s Research Fellow in the Technology and Operations Management department.  Chris is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Christopher Park

Chief Technical Implementation Officer

Chris Park brings more than 14 years of technology experience in corporate network security to his position as CTIO, where he is responsible for creating and driving the company’s IT strategy. As the resident expert in all aspects of iboss solutions and infrastructure, he is responsible for iboss’ entire IT operation, including network and system engineering, front-end development, data center operations, and customer service and support. Prior to his CTIO position, Chris served in a variety of product management and network architect roles, working with public and private companies to troubleshoot and support their network security infrastructures. As a proven IT leader, Chris is dedicated to helping drive the company’s IT operations with a focus on building and supporting global IT strategies that ensure future growth.

Ted Ranft

Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

Ted Ranft’s Security, SaaS, Software and Technology Infrastructure career has spanned a variety of leadership positions based in Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh, Rochester, Philadelphia, London and New York where he now resides. With nearly 30 years of experience, Ranft has built and scaled businesses from $3M to $1.2B in annual bookings. He held senior leadership positions at Avi Networks, serving as Vice President of Worldwide sales, and at ServiceMax as the Senior Vice President Americas and Worldwide Strategic Accounts. Previously Ranft served more than 10 years at VMware with escalating responsibilities including VP EMEA Network & Security based in London and VP Worldwide Global Accounts while based in London and New York. Ted was a principal contributor in the development of VMware’s Global Account program and has experience with world’s largest global companies as well as an in-depth knowledge of the Financial Services sector. Before VMware, Ted held leadership positions with RSA Security, Inktomi, and International Networks Services. Ted holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Michigan State University; an M.B.A. from Saint Joseph’s University; a Masters in Educational Technology from George Washington University; and has completed the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Program.

Kyle Bettigole

SVP & General Counsel

Before joining iboss, Kyle was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Decision Resources Group (DRG), a global provider of best-in-class healthcare data, analytics and insights products and services. At DRG, Kyle oversaw the company’s global legal functions and led strategic corporate and legal initiatives. Prior to DRG, Kyle served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for The Princeton Review, Inc., where he shepherded the company through multiple business transformation and capital restructuring initiatives, and was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Sapient Corporation, a global integrated marketing and technology services company. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School.

Joe Cosmano

SVP of Engineering Services

Joe Cosmano has over 15 years of leadership and hands-on technical experience in roles including Senior Systems and Network Engineer and cybersecurity expert. Prior to iboss, he held positions with Atlantic Net, as engineering director overseeing a large team of engineers and a network operations center. As a data center engineer for XOS Digital, where he architected and supported a mission critical data center infrastructure and network. Joe also held a position with the National Center for Forensic Science, where he lectured law enforcement on cyber threats. He has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Information Systems Security from the University of Denver.

Richard Quinones

SVP of SLED Business Development

Richard Quinones has spent over 20 years taking on important IT leadership roles at the county, state and national levels. His past experience includes being appointed Los Angeles County’s first chief education technology officer, where he led the delivery of IT services across 80 school districts and five community colleges. He was also appointed senior IT advisor to the National Advisory Council on Education Technology (NACET), and commissioned to advance the roll-out of the U.S. President’s National Public Schools Broadband Initiative. He has also served as senior technology advisor to Los Angeles Unified School District officials, including the office of the chief information officer, and chief executive officer of strategic planning and digital innovation. Richard holds a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in e-government from University of La Verne.

Will Scola

Head of APAC Operations

During his more than 15 years in corporate business development, Will Scola has worked with some of the world’s largest enterprise organizations. As business development, procurement and global e-sourcing director for Petco, he had responsibility for channel development and strategic sourcing, and was instrumental in the establishment of Petco’s first cross-border joint venture. Prior to that, Will held various leadership positions with GE. As part of GE’s Corporate Audit Staff (CAS), he worked in Japan, Australia, Hungary, and Mexico, where his responsibilities included organizational development, staffing and business process development, financial diligence, and corporate compliance. Will has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Auburn University.

Eileen Heller

Vice President of People

Eileen brings more than 20 years of recruiting experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments to her work at iboss, with expertise in recruiting for engineering, technical, and sales roles. With a focus on innovative recruiting strategies, Eileen successfully served as the Director of Talent Acquisition for Intepros Consulting for 10 years. Prior to that, she worked for nine years at Network Plus as The Director of Recruitment and successfully led the company’s aggressive growth strategy as they went public. Her ability to build strategic, best-in-class recruiting teams while streamlining and standardizing the process will greatly benefit iboss’ expansive planned growth. Eileen graduated from Seton Hall University and resides south of Boston with her husband, daughter, and son.

Andy MacDonald

Vice President of Cloud Services

Andy MacDonald is Vice President of Cloud Services at iboss. He is the leader tasked with expanding the iboss global datacenter footprint supporting our tremendous expansion. In addition, Andy leads the Network Operations Center Team managing and developing strategic processes improving customer uptime. He brings a proven track record of achievement from previous experience at PowerAdvocate where he served as Director of IT supporting all aspects of their SaaS infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Endicott College.

Stephen Kerns

Vice President, Private Capital Investing, Goldman Sachs

Stephen Kerns is a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ Private Capital Investing team. In that capacity, he invests in private companies throughout North America in the software, tech-enabled business services, and healthcare sectors. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Princeton University.

Frank Fanzilli

Former Managing Director and Global CIO, Credit Suisse

Mr. Fanzilli spent almost 20 years at Credit Suisse (CS), where he became global chief information officer, managing the firm’s applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity operations and a staff of over 4,000, across more than 20 countries. At CS, Frank was a Managing Director and member of the Firm’s Information Executive Board. He has also served on more than 12 corporate boards in the technology and banking field, where he has overseen risk, investment, and mergers and acquisitions. Frank’s recent boards include 1010data, Calypso Technology, and CommVault. He is also one of the longest serving independent directors at The Linux Foundation. He is based in the New York area.

John M. Connolly

Co-Chairman of iboss and Senior Advisor, Bain Capital Ventures

Mr. Connolly has served as chairman, non-Executive chairman, or director on 15 boards. He is currently senior advisor at Bain Capital Ventures (BCV) and previously served as managing director and lead of the Operating Group at BCV, where he worked with over 25 portfolio companies developing strategies and tactics to accelerate growth. John has also founded two companies (Course Technology and MainSpring) and has been a CEO of five different companies. With over 30 years of experience innovating, executing and leading successful businesses, John will be of tremendous value to iboss as we continue to grow internationally. He is based in Boston, Massachusetts.

George Blank

Former CFO Univision

George Blank is a finance executive with over 33 years of experience, including 17 years as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Univision Communications Inc, the premier Spanish language media company in the United States. During George’s tenure with Univision, the company had a successful Initial Public Offering, listing on the NYSE. Before joining Univision, George held positions with NBC, serving as vice president and controller. He began his career in positions with Arthur Andersen & Co and RCA Corporation. He is a licensed (inactive) CPA, earning his Bachelor or Arts in accounting and his Master of Business Administration in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a board member for national nonprofit Cure Duchenne.

Hillel Moerman

Co-Head, Private Capital Investing, Goldman Sachs (Board Observer)

Hillel Moerman co-heads the Private Capital Investing team at Goldman Sachs. The Private Capital Investing team provides financing solutions for growth and middle market companies to support talented management teams in building leading companies. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he was the CFO of Icahn Enterprises, LP (NYSE-IEP) and a senior member of the team responsible for operational oversight of the companies in which Carl Icahn had a controlling interest. Earlier in his career, Hillel was a senior manager with Ernst & Young, LLP, performing financial and business due diligence for private equity firms, in the Transaction Advisory Group. He began his career in public accounting with Grant Thornton LLP, and worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission in its corporation finance group. Hillel is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ner Israel College and a Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University.

Joel Wecksell

Former Executive with Gartner and Xerox (Board Observer)

Joel Wecksell has more than 35 years of experience in the technology industry, including 18 years with Gartner Research, where he served as group vice president for the Global Software Research Group. Prior to that, he spent 11 years with Xerox. He possesses a broad-based knowledge of technology and cybersecurity issues, having held executive-level positions in technical sales, marketing, and research.
