iboss Announces New Corporate Headquarters in Boston to Fuel Rapid Growth; Will Hire Nearly 200 Employees

BOSTON Mass., May 17, 2017 iboss, provider of iboss cloud, a leading cloud-based internet security platform, announced today it has opened its new corporate headquarters in Boston during a press conference with Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker. This announcement comes during an explosive growth period for iboss including over 100 new employees since 2015 and reaching a total of over 4,000 customers. With the new employees in Boston, iboss’ total headcount will grow to over 400.

The new 23,000 square foot office at 101 Federal Street will enable iboss to capitalize on the innovative talent pool in Boston as it continues growing its leadership, sales, engineering, and marketing teams. In addition to naming Boston as its new headquarters, iboss will continue expansion in its San Diego office. The new Boston employees will join employees in San Diego and across the world to continue developing iboss cloud.

Built for the cloud and border-less organizations, the iboss cloud delivers Internet security in the cloud as a SaaS solution. It solves the challenges related to the cloud-first future including user mobility and exponential bandwidth growth due to applications moving to the cloud by leveraging the cloud to deliver infinite capacity for Internet security.

“We are thrilled to have Governor Baker join us as we announce our new headquarters in Boston, one of the world’s largest and most innovative technology and cybersecurity hubs,” said Paul Martini, iboss CEO and co-founder. “When we were looking to expand our footprint in order to hire the best leadership and employees possible, Boston was at the top of our list due to its renowned universities and vibrant talent pool. We are looking forward to continuing the innovation iboss is known for from our new headquarters in Boston and with our colleagues around the world.”

“We are excited to welcome iboss’ corporate headquarters and the jobs they will bring with them to Boston and the Commonwealth,” said Governor Charlie Baker. “Their decision reinforces Massachusetts’ role and success as a global leader in technology, innovation and education, as well as our opportunity to compete in the growing cybersecurity industry.”
