iboss Chrome Web Store App Update

iboss Chrome Web Store App Update

On Wednesday November 6^th after 8 PM EST, iboss will update the iboss cloud Enterprise Chromebook connector in the Chrome Web Store. This updated version of the Chromebook connector addresses the inability of some Chromebook models to consistently report a user’s local IP address.

With this update those Chromebook models will now report the users local IP for those customers with the Use private source IP of client (if available) enabled in their Cloud Connector, General Settings page.

The Chrome Web Store may take several hours to process the iboss update. Once completed your G Suite service will automatically update the iboss Chromebook connector as users sign into their Chromebooks. There is no action iboss customers must take to apply the new software.
